Silvr, a business financing platform, entrusted me with the audit and optimization of the web performance of its website in order to improve their referencing.
Optimize everything that could be optimized to get the fastest site possible
Context: A brand new website that did not have the best practices of SE0
Silvr.co, a company specialized in short-term financing for SMEs, neededoptimize the performance of your website to provide a smooth and fast user experience. The site was suffering from high load times during the previous Webflow development, which affected the site visit. Silvr.co called on my services as Webflow developer to improve site speed and optimize overall performance.
Objectives: Make the website faster in order to avoid the bounce rate
The objectives of this optimization were:
1. Reduce page load time : Improve loading speed to provide an optimal user experience. Previously the Google Page Speed Insights performance and SEO scores were 48% and 72%.
2. Improving overall performance : Use advanced techniques to optimize resources and reduce response times. Also review all the HN structure titles that were not respected at all.
3. Optimize and resize all images : The most effective lever for a web page to load quickly lies in theoptimizing images and choosing the right format.
Results: Pages that load twice as fast
Optimizing web performance for Silvr.co has led to significant results:
• Reduced loading time : The page load time has been reduced by 50%, thus improving the user experience.
• Performance improvement : The optimizations made it possible to increase the site's response speed by 30%. Performance and SEO results (48% and 72%) increased to 88% and 100%.
